Icky Last Weekend

  Looks like we are finishing up 2014 with some pretty, icky, drizzly weather with cold, and possibly some snow moving in by Saturday. As we always say, we are always officially open, you are welcome to set up, and we do have the covered arbors you can set up under at no extra charge. With this also being a big holiday weekend, though, combined with the dreary weather, most of our regular vendors probably won't be setting up. You are always welcome to call ahead for an update as to set-ups and who, or if, is open.

All of us want to thank you for your patronage this year. All of you, or customers, vendors and readers, are what makes our Okay Flea Market successful! Thank you immensely for supporting us!

Remember, we ARE officially open all year around. And when the weather dries and warms up just a bit, you can be assured that we will be open with some exceptionally fantastic year end sales! As some of you know, when Mother Nature hasn't allowed us to be open for a few weekends, once we do open, many of our vendors are so excited to finally get to open that they run some jaw dropping, amazing sales. So be sure to come on out and see us when the sun comes out, as you will find bargains you surely won't want to miss!

Officially Open, But Unsure Set-Ups

Hello, Everyone! We hope you are having a terrific Christmas season, so far!! To answer your possible question, YES, we are officially open this weekend.

BUT  . . . with the air so terribly damp and chilly, we are unsure as to which, or if any, vendors will be setting up. As always, you are welcome to call ahead to see if any vendors, or the vendor you especially want to visit are set up.

Vendors that do set up will still be having some exceptionally FANTASTIC sales! As you may have noticed, when the weather is like this, the sales are usually even more spectacular than usual.. . . kind of our "thank you" to you for venturing out our way in less than perfect weather.

And as always, if you are wanting to set up this weekend, we will gladly welcome you and there is plenty of space for you to set up.
If our vendors open, come on out and shop with us! We still have lots of great Christmas decor and you can find a wonderful selection of gift items. You will find great gifts for everyone on your list, and save loads of money over making your purchases at one of those big, corporate stores.

  Tis the season for lots of shopping for many! Decorations, Gifts, Special Occasion dishes, Holiday clothing, Toys, and the list goes on, and on, and on of the many items people are out and about shopping for this season.

YES! We are open Thanksgiving Weekend!

Yes! We WILL be open this Thanksgiving Weekend!

Friday, the weather does look reasonably good, so far, but we can't guarantee that any of our vendors will be set up. Many of them have family in from out-of-town and will be spending a little more time with them. Some will be out-of-town visiting friends and family for the Holiday. Others will just plain be kicked back and resting from the excitement and over eating of Thanksgiving day. And then there are those that will actually be out fighting the crowds of the Black Friday shopping. So, although we can't say for sure that no vendors will be set up Friday, there may not be. Feel free to call ahead to see if anyone has set up Friday. But remember, it just takes one vendor with that perfect-for-you item to make it worth your trip!

SATURDAY; however, is looking very good at the moment!! According to the weather prediction at the time of this writing, it looks to be a fantastic day weather wise! And by Saturday, many of our vendors will probably be more than ready to get back out here and set up. And the bargains will probably be even better than the ones at the Big Stores!  So you will want to be sure and add us to your shopping list this weekend! Yes, we will be open Sunday, too!

Inclement Weekend Weather Pattern

  It seems we have taken on a distinct pattern of inclement weather weekends. Last weekend was extremely cold and snowy. This weekend looks to be a very comfortable light jacket temp weekend, but rain looms in the forecast. At this time, Saturday looks to be nearly a 100% chance of rain, and even possible storms.

Yes, we are officially open every weekend of the year, but with this being a dominantly outdoor business, most of our vendors will not set up in the rain, as I am sure most of you customers won't want to come and walk around in the rain to shop.

Although there is a huge chance of rain this weekend, there IS still a slight chance that it won't rain . We have seen chances this high before, yet the weekend turn out warm and beautiful with full set-ups. Only Mother Nature truly knows what she is going to do. So don't give up if your heart was set on flea marketing this weekend. And once again, you are always welcome to call ahead to find out if any of our vendors have set up and are open. You can find our contact info in the Contact tab above.

And remember, weather we are open or not,  you can always browse through photos of many of our items that are available in our Facebook Group. There you can also ask our vendors questions about their items or anything else you may want to ask them.

When the weather beautifies itself back up, the Fall Clearance sales many of our vendors are having will continue. Actually, to make up for lost sales, many of our vendors will have additional great sales. So you will want to be sure and come on out and not miss them. We will be overflowing with great bargains! A Frosty Weekend!

Brrrrrr . . . . . It is a cold one this weekend!!! No, it hasn't snowed or iced, yet, but it is spitting a little snow out there as I type. Looks like there is a small chance of the frosty white stuff Saturday, and a big chance on Sunday with VERY cold temps.

We always advertise that we are open All Year 'Round, and we are. All of our vendors are welcome to set up any weekend they want, ALL year long, and all of you, our truly valued customers, are eagerly welcomed to come on out and shop with us, ALL year long.  .  . .

BUT . . . . . .

Our Vendors DO NOT HAVE to set up. We certainly don't want anyone getting sick by setting up in inclement weather. It just isn't a wise thing to do. Although everyone is welcomed to set up, it is doubtful that any of our vendors will be setting up this weekend. We can't speak for each, individual vendor and say that no one will set up this weekend, but the chances are that no one will be. If there is snow/ice on the roads, we strongly discourage anyone from getting out unless it is an absolute must.

So, if you were planning on coming out and shopping this weekend at the Okay Flea Market and are unsure if anyone will be set up, feel free to call ahead and check to see if anyone has set up. And remember, you can pre-shop many of our vendors in our Facebook Group. There, you can browse around pics of many of the vendors' items and ask them questions in the comments. So you see, you can still Flea Market shop this weekend, even if you have to stay home where it is warm!

We hope next weekend is beautiful and, contrary to what it feels like outside right now, it is still Fall and our Fall Clearance Sales will continue, with prices that will drop your jaw! Have a safe and warm weekend and ...

Possibly a Little Later Start Due to Freeze

It has gotten colder and colder as the day has gone on! Looks like we will be getting our first, REALLY HARD freeze of the season tonight. . . . . very unseasonably early!

We ARE open this weekend, but with the hard freeze, vendors will probably open a little later than usual. As always, feel free to call ahead, if you would like, to see if your favorite vendor has set up in this chilly weather.

The great and exceptional Fall Bargains continue on. Many of our vendors are still having their clearance, stock reduction and moving sales. The prices are definitely JAW DROPPING!

Fall and Christmas decor is now available. And it is never too early to start your Christmas shopping! Many items out here at Okay Flea Market are brand new, while others are Vintage and Antique. All make really great gifts for any occasion.

Virginia's Last Weekend

Sad to say, but this is Virginia's final weekend at Okay Flea Market. After over 14 years of wonderful flea marketing, she has closed down her set-up. Last weekend she had her auction, but she had so much stuff that she still has a lot of great stuff left!  So this weekend all remaining stock is back for sale BUT at super drastically reduced prices! The bargains will be TRULY unbelievable!

Toy Man is  moving from one end of the flea market to the other end, so he is having a HUGE Moving Sale this weekend. The more he sells, the less he has to move.

The Cookie Lady will be here, also, this weekend with her yummy cookies and other great baked goods. Right now she even had homemade apple pies, baked fresh from her own, home grown apples! What a treat!

There will be quite a few vendors set up this beautiful weekend, and all are having some great super sales. Plus, you can be sure and find some great Halloween and Fall decor. We hope you can make it out.

Auction at 10am Saturday the 18th!

 It's finally here! At 10:00am tomorrow (Saturday, October 18th), Virginia's Auction of a lifetime of collecting and gathering will begin.

There is sooooo much wonderful stuff you would not believe, and such a great variety! No matter what you are looking for, you can be assured, there will probably be something great and wonderful here for you!

So come on out and join in the fun! And don't forget to take a stroll around our other vendors and check out all of their bargains, too!

Virginia's Auction

  Yes, sadly, after about 14 years, our wonderful and beautiful Virginia is closing down her shop (space #40) and auctioning EVERYTHING off on Saturday, October 18th.

This huge event will begin at 10am under the Arbors, that day. She has an enormous amount of stuff, covering an huge variety that she will be letting go of. You WILL NOT want to miss this event!!!

Our fantastic Ray will be the auctioneer and it is promising to be a very fun and exciting auction, but we will miss Virginia's shop immensely!

Add Us to Your Fin & Feather Trek!

Yay!  It's finally here! People have been buzzing about it and planning their strategy shopping trip for weeks, some for months! It's the weekend of the annual Fin & Feather Resort Craft Fair!!! And that means lots and lots of Flea Markets and yard sales all along the road there!

We, here at Okay Flea Market, aren't quite on that road, but we aren't too far off the beaten path, so be sure and add us to your list of sales you want to be sure and catch. We are joining in the fun and having some extra excellent sales!

Sure, many of our vendors are away this weekend, either shopping, themselves, along that trek, or setting up over there, but you can be certain that the vendors that set up here at Okay Flea Market this weekend will be having some JAW DROPPING SALES you won't want to miss!

Leonard has new stuffed animals in and is having a great sale to make room for yet more.

Virginia is continuing her deeply discounted closing out sale.

A Gorgeous Summer Weekend for Flea Marketing!!!!

It is such an unusually gorgeous weekend for the heat of summer! The temps are just right for getting out and walking around outside. So why not come on out and take a stroll around the Okay Flea Market?! You will certainly find some super fantastic buys . . . . our vendors are enjoying this great weather so much that they are having some extra good sales!

The Cookie Lady will be here with her tasty cookies, brownies, pies, cobblers and jellies. She also has a great selection of household items, many of which are Vintage.

Vendor #38 continues to have her super low priced stock reduction sale.

Vendor #40 is continuing with her close-out sale. Now, you can certainly find some exceptions bargains there!

Booth #30 is highlighting his collectible dolls and dream catchers this weekend.

The Toy Man has some great new items, still at his ridiculously low prices, for all of your kids, and those kids at heart (vintage and antique toys available).

Jackets and Sweaters, ALREADY!!!

 The calendar may say Summer, but in honor of this record breaking cold front, some of our vendors have broken out the jackets and sweaters! YES, although this time last year we were seeing triple digit temps, this weekend vendors #38, 39, and 40 are having a huge sale on jackets and sweaters!
Also, Vendor #40 is having a huge, closeout sale!

While you are out walking around, be sure and stop by Frank's at space #3. He has just gotten in some gorgeous Turquoise and Coral rings.

If you are a doll collector, be sure and stop in at Ray's. Ray has a great selection of collectible dolls, still in their boxes, for only $5 each!! They are absolutely adorable!

After all that walking and shopping, stop off and see the Cookie Lady. She has top quality, scrumptious, homemade cookies, brownies, pies, jellies and more that will quickly take the edge off of your hunger. You will want to be sure and get some extra, too, to take home and enjoy in the evening while you are watching your favorite TV show.

 The calendar may still say SUMMER, but all around the Okay Flea Market, Fall has arrived!!!

Don't worry, there is still plenty of summer and back-to-school necessities and bargains to be found.  But many of our vendors are also breaking out their Fall decor, Thanksgiving, and Halloween decorations.

And don't forget that the Okay Flea Market is a FANTASTIC place to find that unique costume! You can find an array of costumes ready to wear, or you can have some great fun as you browse through the multitude and variety of clothes to put together your own unique costume! If you start browsing now for those fun items to assemble your own costume, by Halloween/Fall, you can be sure you will be one of the best, and most fun, dressed at your event!

Open Labor Day Weekend!

YES! We are open this Labor Day Weekend! We are open Friday, Saturday & Sunday! (closed on Monday)

You know us, we always use anything for an excuse to have a great sale, and this weekend is no exception. So when you are out catching all those fantastic end-of-summer bargains this weekend, DON'T FORGET US!! Our prices, bargains and sales will astound you!

Don't forget, also, that we are a great place to find many of those back-to-school needs at super low prices, even appliances for those off to college students.

Triple Digit HOT, But Still Open!

YES, even though that mercury is now showing 3 digits, we are STILL OPEN!!!

Not all of our vendors will be open. Some don't/can't open in this kind of extreme heat, so feel free to call ahead if you would like to know if your favorite vendor is open this weekend. And feel free to come set up if you would like!

Though the number of vendors that are open will be few this weekend, you can be assured that the bargains that they will be providing for those that brave the heat and come out to see us will be many!

The TOY MAN will be open with all of his many fun and terrific toys! He also still has some great bargains left from his household sale.

The JEANS LADY will be open (#39)  with her great variety of jeans in sizes for everyone in the entire family. She has an exceptionally great selection for all of those little ones heading back to school!

And if you are hungry for some great goodies, our COOKIE LADY was busy as a bee all day today baking away! She has the tastiest cookies, pies, jams and jellies! They are all made fresh, far better tasting, and much lower priced than any bakery you will probably encounter.

But DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT, our vendors that are open will all be closing by NOON this weekend. This is for their safety, as well as yours.

SOOOO....... if you can handle the heat come on out and see us! The extra good bargains will be worth your trip!

Are you planning on having a yard sale in the future? Don't like having all those strangers coming to your home? Okay Flea Market is the place for YOU! Set-up fee for 3 days is unbelievably low! If you notify us in advance, we can add you to our weekly ads. And you can pre-post all of your items in our Facebook group for customers to view what you have for sale in advance! Now, how much better can it get than that!?

Do you sell locally online and deliver your goods through meet-up? Even in broad daylight, meeting up in public parking lots can carry some unforeseen risks. Set up to Meet Up at Okay Flea Market for a much safer pick-up/delivery location for your Online Sales. The tiny set-up fee will be more than worth it for a much safer delivery location.

Take a Walk Through the Flea Market as You Enjoy This Great Weather!

As you scroll down through these posts, you can clearly see that the weather these past few weeks has had some drastic ups and downs! We are HAPPY to say that this weekend is unseasonably cool! Yes, it may get just a little bit warm in the heat of the day, but still well below our 'normal.'

While the weather is so wonderful, why not get out for a walk . . . . take a walk around the Okay Flea Market! At the same time, you can browse our great vendors. The sales are FANTASTIC and the selection is greatly varied and  unique.

Our Toy Man has just received a lot of new stock. Besides more of his wonderful and ridiculously low priced toys, he will also have some furniture and household odds and ends this weekend, also at jaw dropping low prices.

And after you have walked off a bunch of calories and worked up an appetite, you will want to be sure and stop by the Cookie Lady for some of her delicious cookies, brownies, pies or jellies, all made from scratch with lots of love. I have personally been sampling them for nearly 50 years and can assure you they are the best you will ever taste.

So come on out and see us this weekend, where you will find one amazing sale after another.

HEAT Advisory!!!

 YES, we are officially still open this weekend, but due to the high heat, several vendors will not be open, and most of those that are open will be closing very early. The high heat, high humidity, high wind (prevents putting up shades), and most set-ups out on the gravel all combine together to make setting up too dangerous for many of our regular vendors this weekend.

If you enjoy getting out and soaking up some heat (some people actually do) or are looking for some great bargains, a couple of the set-ups may be open all day. Feel free to call ahead to see if your favorite vendor is open before you drive out.

At the entrance, under the Big Oak, we do have a yard sale set-up this weekend with wonderful new items to browse through!

Take it easy this weekend, limit your activity during the heat of the day, drink plenty of water, and pay extra close attention to what your body is telling you. Overheating your body can sneak up on you much faster than you would expect under the conditions that are present this weekend.

But despite the heat, have a safe and wonderful weekend and we will SEE YOU SOON!!!

Cool Finds

Although we have had a lot of rain, we have been so very blessed so far this season with unusually cool weather. Hasn't it been nice?!!

As for all that rain, it is really making the gardens grow, which, in turn, we hope results in lots and lots of veggies and fruits for sale at Okay Flea Market in the near future!

Those cool temps; however, look like they are going to disappear for the weekend. But you won't want to miss coming out because you will find the coolest of bargains at every booth out here! We are so excited that we have an apparent rain-free weekend, that we will be having even more great sales!

So come on out and see us this weekend, give your legs a good stretch as you walk around and browse through all of our wonderful set-ups, and marvel at all those fantastic finds at unexpectedly low prices.!!!

Post Spring Fling Sales . . . Again!

  Yes, we are going to try this . . . AGAIN!  Spring Fling was wonderful, in the sense that we had LOADS of vendors, with LOADS of great stuff! But . . . . the inclement weather kept a lot of people away and we had LOADS of that stuff left.

We planned to have a really nice Post Spring Fling sale last weekend, but, as you know, we got completely rained out last weekend. So, we are going to try this . . . . again. We really stocked up over the past few months, in preparation for our Big Annual Sale, and now we have all of this stuff that we need to get out of our way because we simply have too much stuff to store.

We will accomplish this by having a sale, now, with prices you will find absolutely unbelievable! It looks like this will be a FANTASTIC weekend for it! It looks like the weather will be absolutely gorgeous! And you may even find that perfect Father's Day gift for Dad!

Better yet, bring dad on out to walk around and shop for his own gift! The selection is great and the prices are low!

Post Spring Fling Sales!

We all had a great time at Spring Fling last weekend! There were soooo many vendors you really needed half a day freed up to be able to browse through them all. And the bargains were fantastic!!!

The weather; however, was not very cooperative. It rained and stormed on US quite a few times all throughout the weekend. Although many people braved the elements and came on out, the rains really dampened our turnout. As a result, most of us have much more stock left than we had hoped we would have. soooo........

Many of us will be having some exceptional POST Spring Fling sales!!! A great variety of bargains can be found. But . . . what if it is stormy again THIS weekend?!
Then we will have our Post Spring Fling sale the following weekend! Whichever weekend it is, you can be sure the bargains will be worth coming out to see us for!

Spring Fling is Almost Here!!!!

SPRING FLING is almost here! Next weekend is our Annual big event! We will have every kind of vendor imaginable with the lowest prices you can imagine, along with a terrific food vendor with a large, tasty variety. Be sure and check back this week for a list of many the items our vendors will be selling.

If you would still like to set-up to sell at our Annual Spring Fling, spaces out in the open are still available. And the cost to set up for the entire weekend is a single digit figure!

We are also still open this weekend (weather permitting). Most of our vendors will be having extra great sales this weekend, too, in order to make room for all the items they want to bring next weekend. You won't want to miss either weekend!!! And, as always when the weather is iffy, feel free to call ahead to see if the vendor you want to shop, or any vendors for that matter, are open. Spring Fling is almost Here!

Can you believe, it is MAY already! And May is such an extra special month. Why? Because at the end of this month is our Annual Spring Fling!!!


Spring Fling is our BIGGEST sale of the entire year! Our regular vendors are planning some extra great sales . . . . sales you won't want to miss at all!

During this sale we also have a few Annual Vendors . . . . . vendors that only set up this one weekend of the year.  They save up and plan all year long for this spectacular sale!

Although it only takes one person set up, with that just-what-you-need-item to make your trip worth coming out, if you like to shop through LOTS of vendors, this is the weekend for you! This is usually our biggest vendor weekend of the year, yummy food vendors, too!

If you are planning on having a garage sale, soon, why not have it at the Okay Flea Market during Spring Fling?! There will already be a lot of people coming through, you won't have strangers at your house, and if you let us know in advance, we can help advertise it for you. You can also pre-post your items in our Facebook Group. It is an Open group, so LOTS of people will be seeing it!

If you are crafty and make items you like to sell, setting up at our Annual Spring Fling will be perfect for you! And you won't find a better set-up price!

Storms May Roll Sunday . . . so . . . .

. . . . . ROLL YOURSELF ON OUT SATURDAY to Okay Flea Market to shop all of our great bargains!

We never know if the weatherman is right or not, but better safe than sorry. This weekend, viscous storms are predicted for Sunday. With that prediction hanging over us, you can bet that our vendors will be trying so hard to get two days worth of sales into one, that the bargains will be astounding! You will certainly want to come check us out Saturday!

And before you end up being cooped up all day indoors on Sunday, wouldn't it be great to get out for awhile Saturday and enjoy all that beautiful warm sunshine as you walk around and shop through all of our fantastic and unique items? And fantastic and unique they are!

And if that weatherman is WRONG, you can come right back out on Sunday and shop some more with us! If that weatherman is wrong, we will be so excited that our vendors will probably have even more exciting bargains for you to choose from!

Saturday looks to be a super great day with many vendors opening. We even have a new vendor set up under the Oak Tree with some great furniture!!! If you are needing any furniture, you will want to be sure and check out their great bargains.

On Easter Sunday, so long as the rain holds off (and so far, it is looking good), a few of our vendors will be open with some fantastic sales. So after you stuff yourself full with that wonderful Easter dinner, come on out and walk a little of it off as you browse through our sales.

Our vendors are so tired of having been cooped up for so long through our exceptionally cold winter, and now the rains seem to be often falling on the weekend, so when we get such fantastic days as yesterday and today, you can bet that the sales will be outstanding!

Bargains will ABOUND today, so you will want to be sure and come on out to shop around. Our vendors carry such a wide and unique assortment, you will probably almost certainly find something you just absolutely have to have!

Spring Fling is almost upon us! It is just around the corner, the last weekend of May!

This is our BIGGEST sale of the year (although all of our sales are great!)  We have many extra vendors during this annual event. We have those that use this opportunity to have their annual garage sale without having to have people come to their house.

We have vendors at this event with the most wonderful collectibles for sale, such as knives, coins, dolls, and the list goes on!

We also have our crafters that craft away all year long to bring you excellent, handmade choices at our Annual Spring Fling. This is a great time to stock up on quality, handmade gift items for the rest of the year!

A NICE FLEA MARKETING DAY!

 It's a beautiful Spring day!!! Yes, it will be a chilly start to the day, which may result in some vendors setting up a little later than usual, but, according to forecasts, it looks like it will be a WONDERFUL day for getting out, walking around and Flea Marketing! Yes, there may be a slight chill to the air if you are standing still, but that is what makes it such a great day to head out to the Okay Flea Market!

Once you get to walking around, browsing at all the great bargains we have to offer, and get excited about all of your fun finds . . . you will start warming up and the temps of the day will be perfect after all! You will want to be sure and come out today, too, because tomorrow (Sunday) looks pretty iffy. Rain is forecast for Sunday, so feel free to call ahead Sunday to see if we are open, if you would like.

And with the possibility of our Flea Marketing weekend being cut short by a day, you can be sure that many of our vendors will be having fabulously wonderful sales to cover two days of sales in one. Don't you just love it when that happens?!! Super Bargains are always a wonderful thing!!

But Spring is finally here! The weather if finally warming up and everyone is ready to get out and enjoy some fresh air and warm sunshine. I know I am! And along with the warmer weather comes our annual Spring Fling! Can you believe it is almost here!

Spring Fling is our BIGGEST sale weekend of the entire year! We always have great sales out here, but that weekend is our biggest and best! We have lots of extra vendors that weekend, too, because so many of those that set up just one weekend a year for their garage sale use that weekend. And of course, our coin & knife man usually sets up that weekend, too.

If you are planning on starting a small business, or make handmade items that you like to sell, this would also be a great weekend for you to set up.

And of course, it is the perfect weekend for EVERYONE to come out and shop!

We have an excellent chance for a beautiful Flea Market weekend this time! Although there is a slight chance for rain, there is an even BIGGER chance that it won't rain, so we are looking forward to finally having a great weekend of super good sales!

Uncooperative Weather . . . . . AGAIN!!

The weather is just not being very cooperative, is it! This year's exceptionally cold, icy Winter seems to have kept our beloved Flea Market closed most of the past two months. We really have needed the moisture, even if it did come in the form of ice and snow. The extreme cold was also a blessing in some ways, such as thinning out a few of the ticks and fleas that so many people seemed to be battling by the droves last season, so we really shouldn't be complaining. But we are so anxious to open back up on a regular basis and visit with our treasured customers!

Yet, once again, Nature is being uncooperative. An 80% chance of rain has been predicted beginning early this morning, then changing over to a 100% chance of rain by evening. Although that doesn't look good at all for our Flea Market set-ups this weekend, it is really all in how you look at it. That also means that throughout the flea marketing day, we have a 20% chance of NO RAIN! Well, we can hope, can't we?!

So, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, feel free to call before you come out this weekend to see if our vendors have set up. If it is pouring down rain, no one will be set up. But you can bet that when the weather tames down and we get a beautiful weekend to completely open up, there will be loads and loads of bargains that you most certainly won't want to miss!

And don't forget about our upcoming SPRING FLING the last weekend of May! It is our BIGGEST sale weekend of the entire year! Our vendors plan out their set-ups for this Annual event way in advance. We also have many extra vendors that only set up this one weekend of the year. Weather you are a wanting to set up that weekend, or wanting to come shop, it is a fantastic weekend that you will want to be sure and attend! You can check the tab at the top of this page for a few details about this exciting weekend. More details and updates will be added sometime this coming week, so be sure and watch for them.

What this means is, for our customers, you can now PreShop some of our vendors. This is new, so in time, we hope to have all of our vendors and their set-ups posted on there so you can pre shop at your convenience.

VENDORS - join this Facebook group and you can post pictures and prices of your set-ups and any or all of the items you have for sale. Final sale and pick-up must be conducted at the Okay Flea Market. This is not a garage/yard sale group.
* Also, you can post when you are going to be at the Flea Market, what time you will be open/closed, and any special sales you might have.
* Even if you are just setting up for a weekend or even a day, you are welcome to pre-post your items in this group.
* This group will also allow discussions of your items for sale, in case someone has any questions.

CUSTOMERS - This Facebook group will also help you in many ways! If you are in search of an item, you can post on here that you are looking for something. Many of our vendors have storage buildings full of things. They might have just what you are looking for tucked away. But once again, the final sale must be conducted at the Okay Flea Market.
* You can shop around, in advance, from the comfort of your own home. Not all of our vendors are signed up, yet, so you will still want to come out, when you can, to browse through all the vendors' bargains.
* When you see an item posted, that you might be interested in, you are welcome to ask questions in the group, to better determine if it is exactly what you are looking for. This could be very handy for everyone!

It may have been a terribly windy start to the day, but it sure was gorgeous!! And tomorrow (Saturday) is looking to be even better!

All of us here at Okay Flea Market are as anxious to get out in the warm, bright sunshine and set up, as you  are to get out and walk around shopping in some beautiful weather. And this looks like the weekend for it! Looks like a great stretch of beautiful weather, now, but this time of year, you never know when Winter will suddenly return. So get out and enjoy this nice weather with us while you can.

And due to the weather, it has been several weeks since we were able to open. So you can just imagine that our excited venders will celebrate with some exceptionally great sales that you won't want to miss! On top of that, it is time for us to start getting out our spring items and since we don't like packing away our winter stuff, that will also add to the deep, mark down bargains you will find this weekend at Okay Flea Market!

DREARY WEATHER . . . . . AGAIN

Well, once again it is shaping up to be a very dreary weekend, weather wise, with a Winter Weather Watch/Advisory predicted for our area. So as you can guess, our vendors will probably not be open this weekend.

All of us here, at Okay Flea Market, would like to wish all of you a very safe, warm and happy weekend!
We truly hope the weather is nice and we will see you next weekend!  When we get warm breaks in this frigid winter, you won't want to miss the fantastic sales our vendors will be having!

SPRING FLING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Old Man Winter may still have us tightly in his grip, but our Annual SPRING FLING is just around the corner, and the time to start thinking about it, and preparing for it, is NOW!!!

SPRING FLING is our absolute, BIGGEST sale of the entire year!

Our regular vendors spend months preparing for this Annual sale. Nearly all of them have extra stock set out, and super sale tables you won't want to miss!

Then there are our once-a-year vendors. We have a few vendors that prepare for our Spring Fling sale all year long and set up just this one spectacular weekend. They have some really fun sales!

So, we have our regular vendors, our goody bakers, our knife and coin man, our handcrafters, the Toy Man, and the list goes on and on. It is such a fun, bargain shopping weekend!

There is a large area for vendors to set up, and although there will be plenty of spaces available, even up to the last minute, the reserved areas are already beginning to go quickly. How much for a space, you wonder? This year, the Spring Fling weekend will be the same low price as every weekend!
What weekend,  you ask?  May 30th, 31st, and June 1st (Fri, Sat, & Sun). And yes, you are welcome to come set up on Thursday afternoon. Some vendors even camp out for the weekend, to save long trips and gas.

So weather you are a seller, a shopper, or both, start making your plans now, for our Annual Spring Fling weekend! See you there!

Not all of our vendors will be open through the Winter, but several of them will be, and remember . . . . . it only takes one vendor with that perfect item you were needing/wanting, to make your trip to the Market worthwhile!

And if you are looking for a place to set up, we would love for you to come set up with us!! The set-up price can't be beat, the weather is beautiful, and the company is fantastic!

It Will Be Warm Soon!

HELLO, all of our beautiful, wonderful customers!!!  We do hope that January is somehow finding you all happy, warm, and healthy! 

Has this not been one of the coldest Winters you have seen in awhile, or what?! We are certainly ready for some warm weather, sunshine, and some outdoor flea marketing, how about you? According to the current weather forecast (and they never seem to get that right any more, though), Friday is looking pretty dismal in the flea market world. Can you believe it? 90% chance of rain!! It will definitely be a day to sit in by the fire/heat and read a book or work on an indoor project. You know we will be wishing for all of that moisture by August.

You will have to stay tuned and we will let you know about Saturday. The temps that day are kind of on an edge (and as we know, subject to change either way) and heavy clouds forecast. Both of those, combined with how much rain we actually get on Friday, will determine if any of our vendors are open on Saturday. But you are more than welcome to come on out and set up. And as always, you are welcome to call ahead to see how many of us are open. But remember, it only takes ONE right vendor with that just-one-right-item, to make your trip totally worth it!

Now, Sunday . . . . .Sunday so for is looking WONDERFUL!!!!  We are all looking very forward to a beautiful, warm, sunny Sunday! If that forecast is right, we should have several vendors open on Sunday for you to get out and walk off that after church dinner while you shop and browse.

Saturday was Beautiful!

Well, Saturday actually turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day!! But oh, those early morning temps were still frigid! It was one of those days where it was far too cold for our vendors to set up in the morning, but sure wished they could have because the afternoon dawned bright and warm.

Still, the window of time we could have been open was still very small, as the cold settled right back in as the clouds rolled in and the sun disappeared.

As you can tell today, it is far too dreary and drizzly for our vendors to open today. What a shame as several of them have had some great sales planned for this month!

As anxious as you probably are to get out and walk around shopping in the bright, warm sunshine, our vendors are equally as anxious to get out and set up. It seems to have been a terribly long, cold winter already. And you can be certain that those vendors, when the weather finally permits, will be having some out of this world sales that you absolutely won't want to miss!!!!

A Little Chilly

OKAY FLEA MARKET is officially open this weekend, and you are more than welcome to come on out and set up.
